Arise Wellness works with most major insurance plans through Headway*, including:

Aetna · Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts · Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey · Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania (Virtual National Network) · Oscar · Oxford · Quest Behavioral Health · United Healthcare

Please note: Aetna plans purchased through the health insurance marketplace are out-of-network. All other Aetna plans are accepted.

Insurance is handled through Headway* — a secure platform that manages insurance billing, verification, and payments. You can verify your coverage by creating a profile on Headway and uploading your insurance card. Headway will confirm your benefits and provide an estimate of your cost before booking.

Private Pay

Initial Evaluation:

Scheduled for 60 minutes- $275

Follow-Up Visit:

Scheduled up to 30 minutes- $150

Scheduled for 60 minutes- $275

All payments are processed securely through Headway.*

Out-of-Network & Superbills

If your insurance is not listed, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits. Headway* can generate a superbill — an itemized receipt you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies, so we recommend checking your benefits in advance.

Medication Policy

Care includes thoughtful, evidence-informed medication management when appropriate.

Due to DEA telehealth regulations, controlled medications — including stimulants and benzodiazepines — are not prescribed.

Location & Licensing

Services are provided via telehealth to adolescents and adults physically located in New Jersey at the time of their visit.

What is Headway?

Arise Wellness partners with Headway to simplify insurance billing and credentialing. Headway operates independently and maintains its own terms of service, privacy policy, and payment processes, which you can review directly at headway.co.

Patient privacy is my highest priority. As an extra layer of protection, I maintain all clinical notes in a separate, secure Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. These records are only shared upon request in preparation for, or during, audits conducted by Headway or your insurance company directly.
